Tayshaun Prince Isn’t Enthused About Playing at Home

Mainly because his team is terrible there, too: “Tayshaun Prince didn’t sugar coat it. He was asked whether getting back home for Games 3 and 4 could be a difference-maker for the Pistons. The thing about it, if you look at it, we haven’t played well at home all season,’ he said. ‘That’s why I say being down 2-0 against them puts you in a tough situation. This season we played better on the road than we did at home. We’ve had some bad losses at home to teams we definitely should have beaten. To get in the playoffs now and obviously to have your home crowd and home court is important but we’ve shown throughout the season that we haven’t done a good job of taking care of our home court.’”

Naw, you guys really sucked this year, and I mean really sucked. But Joe D should have never traded Chancey, anyone but him.

Ben Wallace still does not mind playing in Detroit

Tay is one of the only guys I actually feel bad for on the Pistons. Well, him and McDyess. What a mess.

Prince is quickly turning into irrelevant.

Superman Osman Isn’t Enthused About the Detroit Pistons Playing at ALL. In the words of Charles Barkley: SWEEEEEEP

  • Superman Osman

I wish the Bobcats made the playoffs, would have gave Cleveland a good run. A 5 gane series at least!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Myles Brown

What a stupid, selfish, terrible, idiotic thing to say.

  • underdog

I would love to see the Pistons win just one game.

  • underdog

Oh, yeah, and maybe scoring more than 2 freakin’ points would help.

  • leave him alone

People need to get off his back about what he is saying. Sure, in a round about way he’s saying his team is finished, but I’m pretty sure he felt that way a long time ago. Detroits players don’t even look like they care about each other much less the playoffs, I’m pretty sure they’ve collectivelly called it quits. People need to get of Joe D’s back too. Detroit basketball was clearly on the down and all the trade did was fastforward the results. Does that mean Detroit is going to be contending real soon, no but atleast they wont be relying on Chauncey and Sheeds legs to carry them. As for Rip and Tay, both still good players.

TAD, we’ll take Prince if you’re done with him!

Well, we can still compete and it is not over yet. Stuckey will be a good player, he just need a season or two. What we need, and I do not want to be rude, we need a better coach. Curry is still unexperienced and he needs some more time, regards, to all of you…

Oddly…..he didn’t wish the Cavs the title at his teams expense….strange how that works.

Afflao should be more in game. I think he will be a great player soon, give him a chance…

Other than the comment by Miles, nothing about this post made me smile. @leave him alone: read the TMac thread, you’ll get it. If not, happy trails.

    Myles, damn it!

The Pistons are not the tough Pistons of old anymore

So is this on par with T-MAC’s comments (or lack-thereof) about his own team…? If Stuckey is going to be your highest scorer in the playoffs YOUR GOING NO WHERE! AL SUIT UP!!
