Tyrus Thomas Has High Playoff Expectations for the Bulls

Of course he does: ”I think we’re the most dangerous team that’s going to be in the postseason in the Eastern Conference right now,” Thomas said. ”We’re the underdog right now. But I think we’re going to shock a lot of people.”

Yes……we will all be shocked if you take one game from the Celts or Cavs.

by most dangerous i am guessing he means ‘team with the most guys that are strait up insane and will be unemployed next year, so they might r@pe something’ ?

Well, a lot of people were shocked that you were stupid enough to make this statement, so congratulations.

    Lol. That is all.
Oh, and funny points go to the three guys above me.

The Bulls aren’t THAT good, but when Rose, Salmons and either Tyrus or Noah plays well they can be a tough team to beat.

Actually, we look like we’ll be playing Orlando, and uhh, they’re pretty beat up. We can AT LEAST, draw that series out.

  • Sean

Bulls won’t be playing Lebron so they don’t need to worry about him (Lebron/Cavs, him/them are interchangeable). As for Celtics, if Garnett isn’t playing anything is possible, no pun intended.
Theres a good chance the Bulls will be playing Orlando in the first round and I don’t see any reason why that series is out of reach. Say what you like but the Bulls are 8-10 and have only been getting and better since that mid-season trade….

…. who cares about the east?

  • Sean

3 of the 4 best teams in the league are Eastern Conference teams. I’d say the Lakers might care. Don’t think the rest of the Western Conference have anything to worry about.

Yeah, Boston and Orlando look like world beaters right now. Remember the last time the Bulls played the defending champs in the first round?

Russ is officially on the Kool-Aid…
    What flavor is it?

I could see them being this year’s version of last year’s Hawks… they could win two or three games but I don’t see them winning a series.

You’re gonna tell me it’s completely impossible that the Bulls beat the dinged-up Celtics or the Magic (who lost to the Nets AND the Knicks by double digits last week?)?

  • http://slamonline.com Russ Bengtson

I’m not saying that it WILL happen, just that it COULD happen.

  • http://4point0show.com Wes

Yep. Gotta co-sign with Russ. As someone who watches this team on a regular basis (and just came back from a seat in the 12th row Sat.,) I know this team can play with just about anybody.
Orlando is the perfect team to pick on because they’ve suffered a lot of injuries, and all the Bulls need is the confidence that they can win- and they can make it so.
Their biggest struggle will be picking up a game in Orlando.

  • thesubwayconnection

Russ, it’s possible, but the road worries me.

  • jmo

Thats whats up…..Tyrus Thomas is so sick.

Definitly the best and most athletic in the NBA.

Gotta Love A kid with a lot of confidence

    go TT24

  • Jay

  • Kozmic

Well you ain’t suprising anybody with that flagrent a-hole! Keep your cool TT. Let’s go Bulls. They might not be contenders this year, but just give this roster a year or two

  • chintao

Damn. It’s like a tanker-truck full of Kool-Aid overturned in here.

Chicago will win 1 or 2 games in the first round and then bow out….. no chance of getting through to the 2nd round – no chance. They aint the Mutombo Nuggets from years ago or last seasons Warriors…. no chance

  • ab_40

haha he wants to be in the same sentence with kobe and lebron… that’s what he said the other day in one of them interviews… he can’t shoot and can’t dribble. and any team that starts him AND joakim noah can’t win in the L
