Wayman Tisdale: R.I.P.

Wayman Tisdale, the 1985 second overall pick, died Friday morning of cancer. He was 44. A solid player in the League for 12 seasons, Tisdale was better known for his collegiate career at Oklahoma. He was the only Division 1 athlete to be named All-America in his freshman season until Kevin Durant Durant in 2007. Despite his health troubles, Tisdale continued to work with his “first love,” making music as a bass guitarist.
