Jerry Sloan Aiming For Another Season in SLC

In Salt Lake, there are only three constants: death, taxes and Jerry Sloan: “All indications are that he will be back for his 22nd season. He plans to be on hand when the Jazz start bringing in draft hopefuls for workouts in the coming weeks. ‘As of today, I am [coming back], but you never know what tomorrow will bring,’ Sloan said, adding that he was looking forward to next season. If he can fly, Sloan said he would attend the Jazz’s summer league next month in Orlando, FL.”

Sloan is the man, but I really can’t see him coaching anywhere other than Utah. That teams needs to hope Boozer walks…

He would be just about the perfect coach for Chicago.

I have this creepy vision that when the league finally hands sloan his much-deserved COY award, he’ll smile subtly and mutter “Thank You” and fade away in a wisp of ashes.
