Blazers Trade Rodriguez, Brockman for Pendergraph

Bet that Spencer Hawes was whispering in Geoff Petrie’s ear about acquiring his former Huskie teammate Jon Brockman. The trade, from the Blazers perspective, cleans up some clutter: “Rodriguez, who endured an up-and-down three seasons with the Blazers, openly lobbied for a “change” the day after the season ended, so the Blazers were able to ditch a disgruntled player. And perhaps more important, they also were able to free additional cap space — Rodriguez will make $ 1.57 million next season — to help their offseason goals.”

Bayless is a combo guard rainman. I was so depressed that Patty fell to the 2nd round. He must’ve been absolutely devestated. I guess the brightside is he’s now got a HUGE fire in his belly.
