Details on Dwight Howard’s Movie

Though his reps sort of deny the movie’s existence, let’s just say that should filming begin this summer, it doesn’t sound like an Oscar winner: “ORLANDO Magic star Dwight Howard is working with ‘The Ring’ executive producer Michele Weisler on a movie titled ‘Switch,’ about a ‘white, unathletic, unpopular high-school freshman who swaps basketball skills with Howard.’ Chris Tucker, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg are expected to make appearances in the flick, which starts shooting in August. Our source also said Howard’s in talks to get Shaquille O’Neal on board.”

This movie did pretty well, back when it was called “Like Mike.”

God this sounds horrible. So does the kid remain white but have Dwight’s “skills,” or does he turn into Dwight? Cause swapping basketball bodies with Dwight would help, but “swapping basketball skills with Howard” might actually not work out in the white guy’s favor. I can see it now, the white kid is on the free throw line with a chance to win it…oh crap!

as a black man i call racism. haha see what i did there?

Dwight’s game sort of already looks like he “swapped basketball skills” with a ‘white, unathletic, unpopular high-school freshman’

dwight’s shoulders dont fit on widescreen

  • Prison Mike

This guy is so focused on basketball. From complaining about not being in the vitamin water commercial, not having a puppet, now a movie.

Prison Mike: what a bullsh!t comment.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Any movie with Kanye West and Snoop Dogg in might very well suck. Sorry Dwight! At least he has Chris Tucker…
    Good luck Dwight!

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I think Dwight actually has what it takes to be relatively successful in making movies. He can be like the next Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Just in movies… Kareem was hilarious in everything he was in, and he fought Bruce Lee for cryin out loud! That’s impressive.

He totally stole this from Space Jam (where the cartoons steal NBA players skills) and Like Mike (unathletic kid finding magic item and becoming a baller). SMH

    Haha, Ciolkstar’s comment definitely wins.

Why do the kids needs Dwight’s skills? Even with mental deficiencies like autism or extreme ADHD they can still ball. Make a movie with that J-Mac kid. This one sounds worse than Nick Cannon’s Underclassman streetball team of sweater around the neck yuppies. Chris Tucker should never go near a basketball again either after his All Star celeb game disasters.

  • Rnz

I know Dwight is a fan of shaq, but starring in a movie?…what next, a rap album?..a freestyle session that goes “Hey Rashard, tell me how my a$$ taste”..

  • Teddy-the-Bear

    LMAO @ Rnz
