Thibodeau Still Can’t Get a Head Coaching Job
Now that Sacramento has its man, the defensive mastermind will return to the Boston sidelines: “Celtics coach Doc Rivers said late last night that assistant coach Tom Thibodeau has taken his name out of the running for the head coaching job with Sacramento and will return to the Boston bench. Thibodeau was reportedly among the final three for the position, but Sacramento sources said the club was leaning toward Laker assistant Kurt Rambis, with former Celtic Paul Westphal also close.”
