Welcome to Milwaukee, Brandon Jennings

Brandon talks himself into liking the town: “What I first got to Milwaukee, all I heard was bad stuff . . .  that Milwaukee was really boring, terrible,” said Jennings by telephone from New York. “But I think I really got to see the town a little bit when I came there for the workouts and Milwaukee is not a bad town. It’s kind of laid back . . .  a lot of fishing and a lot of boats and a lot of water, things like that. And now I can go to a Green Bay Packer game. I can’t wait for that.”

    Wow, this is gonna be bad, i can already tell. Gil Zero once said 99% of the Nba players dislike playing in Bucks town. Jennings still believes its all about him.

    I am so excited for Jennings…I was hoping he would land in a D’Antoni or Nelso up-tempo style but I can’t wait for this kid to light it up. I honestly think he will average more dimes in his rookie season than any other rook…Michael Redd and Charlie “Tweet” V are perfect for him to drive and dish to.

    I’m pretty down on Jennings for skipping his selection because he was afraid of being the last guy in the green room (at least Holiday showed up on time). But still, I hope he does well, because I like seeing the Sacramentos and Milwaukees do well.

    We wanted this guy so badly in New York… I’m just glad he didn’t pull a Rick Rubio on his team. He’s thankful to be drafted and he’s going to tear the other rookies apart next season. Best of luck to this guy, maybe one day I’ll see him playing for my team.

    I still can’t get over the fact the Knicks didn’t draft him. I was even expecting them to pass on Jennings, and it still kills me that they actually did. And now I will have to watch Scott Skiles bench him and yank his minutes around like he’s done with Ramon Sessions. F*ck.
