Ben Wallace No Longer a Phoenix Sun

The team bought out the former Defensive Player of the Year: “According to several media reports, the team agreed to pay Wallace $10 million for a contract that would have paid him $14 million in 2009-10…The buyout could save the Suns $8 million because the team’s payroll is projected to exceed the league’s $69.9 million luxury tax limit, above which teams must pay a dollar-for-dollar penalty for salaries in excess of that figure.:

    the mavs wanted to start Gortat. And i would take Ben Wallace over Gortat any day. Clippers dont need him because they already have Griffin, Camby, and Kaman. and Spurs dont need him because they have Duncan, Gooden, and Bonner. The mavs need that third big man.
