Celtics Working to Acquire Marquis Daniels

The Beantowners and Pacers just need a third team to help them out. What, is Chris Wallace busy?: “Marquis Daniels has agreed to come to the Celtics, and his former team, the Indiana Pacers, have agreed to sweeten the pot for the player by cooperating in a sign-and-trade deal. The only problem is Indiana’s compensation. Two league sources confirmed yesterday the Celtics and Pacers are seeking a third team to facilitate the trade.”

I like M.D. … that would be a good pickup.

why dont the Bobcats jump in and trade the rest of the team for 5 players to be named later (as in they are still in the womb and the parents are getting fussy on names/cant settle on one/it will be a split desision after birth) since its now about ‘the future’ in CHA? In 26 years we would be in business!

Meh, Daniels is alright. I remember him in Dallas I think it was and he showed flashes of being a decent 7th man… lol

Is he really worth a sign and trade? He’s a free agent isn’t he; let him make his own damn deal! I guess Bird wants something for (truly) nothing.

I was under the impression this was essentially a done deal, but I guess not. Daniels would be a great fit off the bench for Boston, but it wouldn’t be worth giving up any bench players unless it’s either Tony Allen or Scalabrine.

^ Then you’ve been out of the loop Anon. He held down a starter spot on a barren and injured Pacers team alongside Danny ‘Batman’ Granger, but Danny called him Lil Wayne - just for the braids - instead of Robin.

Why did the Lopez’s parents name BOTH their tall boys, Robin and Brook…??
      Were they expecting girls…??

    • Dacre Posted: Jul.28 at 11:42 pm
having said that, i dont mind the name robin for a boy….
perhaps BETCATS could suggest this to some of his expecting players mums??

Expecting mums. Again I don’t see how you can use mum, especially in the case of say a classic example fit for an NBA site: Shawn Kemp. “Baby’s mummy?” Mumma? See, it just doesn’t work when you want to take it back to “real” or original English.
