Matt Harpring’s Career May Be Over

He will soon come to a decision about his future: “Matt Harpring isn’t sure what will happen. But he does plan to let the Jazz know by late August if he’ll be good to go for training camp in October — or if his seven-year Utah run is done, cut short by a rash of injuries that have ravaged his body. ‘Sometimes,’ Harpring said Thursday from his offseason home in the Atlanta area, where he played in high school and starred at Georgia Tech, ‘I have thoughts of playing. And then I have thoughts of not playing.’”

I feel sorry that dude may retire, but his quote extraction above is just gold, that needs to have the p!ss taken out of it.
‘I sometimes feel like eating. Sometimes not. At other times, I like to sleep - but only sometimes’ etc etc etc haha.
But seriously, 7 years with Mormons will do that to you. Sloan, Malone and Stockton must’ve built some weird type of time chamber that separated them with rest of society to survive that long.

I don’t know why, but I kind of like Harpring. Toughest whitey in the NBA? Discuss.

Hursty thats harsh, but funny. He is one tough cat who has been told he’s too small or too slow since high school. Either way he chooses those of us here in Utah with him the best.

That was supposed to say “wish him the best” sorry

Matt Harpring is dope. He shoots a high percentage. Leaves everything on the floor every single game. And he plays hard all the time. I think the best word to decrib him would be underrated.

Second Hursty. I couldn’t stop laughing when I read that quote. By the sound of it, nosmelone’s account of people dogging Harpring since high school might be right. The thing is, when they referred to him as “too slow”, they might not have been talking about his footspeed.
