Patty Mills Could be Made of Glass

… or maybe it’s porcelain. Only today’s X-Ray results can confirm: “Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard Patrick Mills fractured the fifth metatarsal in his right foot during Thursday evening’s NBA Summer League practice session. X-rays taken Thursday night revealed the fracture. Mills will see a specialist today, at which point a timetable for his return will be determined.”

    Metatarsal = not a pinky toe. It’s the bone that runs from the ankle to the toe joint. It’s not that rad that he’s done this, he’ll barely be able to walk. Which totally sucks.

    Blazers probably would have waived him anyway. The roster is full, no room for second round picks. (No disrespect) Roy wont be free agent until the end of next season, but wants to sign big 5 year contract now. Wish they would give it to him, Paul Allen would rather “wait and see”.
