    Report: Malik Allen to Denver

Word in rumorville is that the Nuggets are about to acquire some frontcourt help: “Yes, the Birdman will be back, but who are the Nuggets’ other low-post reserves? Malik Allen will apparently take one of those spots. The Nuggets plan to acquire the veteran power forward from the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Sonny Weems and Walter Sharpe, an NBA source said Tuesday. The trade could become official this week, the source said.”

Lets be honest hear, the real news is…Malik Allen is still alive?

    • Hursty Posted: Jul.22 at 10:26 am
I thought everyone’s comment above me was funny. Except for nicko. Which made it kind of funny.
I kinda agree with Boing too. Not fully, but yeh. That’s all. Anyways…

The Nuggets traded for a 6pack with extra ketchup instead of a 12pack with a picture of Fabio. Dunno if this was worth it.

But for real Milwaukee player personnel news is what happened to Charlie Bell after breaking out then promptly falling off the map. Quick google search now, “Charlie Bell is having the worst season in NBA history” Oh snap.

Sonny Weems was doing pretty well in the summer league, no? He just needs more experience in regular season games. Which he will get now in the Bucks, since, most people are always injured on that team anyways.

They should trade Malik for a washing machine, ala Semi-Pro..they would get more production out of that than this dude.

Actually niQ, Sonny stunk up the Summer League big time, save for the final game. His percentages were appalling. Go check for yourself. Something along the lines on 4-17, 2-18, 5-17 and the “good” last game he got 28 on 7-17.
