Shaq Can’t Believe Marbury’s Web Stream Either

Like everyone else on the planet, The Diesel is confused (and a tad concerned) by Stephon’s new life on the web. /The audio is not safe for work./

Jukai, as much as I hate everything WWE related, your comment absolutely has nothing to do with the ood behaviour that Marbury showed in his 24-hour stream. With all due respect, but if you can’t see the difference in that, I don’t know what to say.

Gerard: really, you don’t think both weren’t for entertainment purposes? You think Marbury thought singing Beyonce at the top of his lungs and taking a tour on his incredibly odd crib wasn’t all just to entertain?

Have you read quotes of the Marbury thing? HE might think he did it for entertainment purposes, but when he’s sobbing in front of his webcam while listening to an R’n'B song, or answering questions from kids probably half his age if he has ever sucked another man’s wang, how in the world is that entertaining? He might think he did it just to have fun, but it was really, really awkward.

Sooo, Lang’s “hes not crazy. hes been like this since the first time i met him.” Defence is no longer valid. That just means hes been crazy since the first time you met him. This dude is crying(litterally) out for help.

The last generation of players had so much more character… making me think that may have been a bad thing.

    Jukai, Marbury ate VASELINE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • http://djsklfl.com Jukai

Gerald: I assume you didnt’ watch it. It was WAY more hysterical than awkward.

IMO, Steph has mental issues. I mean, is it that inconceivable that a few guys in the L would have mental health problems? What’s the % in the general population? He obviously needs help and everything he says/does is magnified by his status. Everybody knows that dude in his neighborhood who’s always been a bit off since elementary school. Steph is that dude.

I think it’s interesting that so many folks are “troubled” by Steph now, but weren’t “troubled” when he was going through his issue last season.
I think Steph doesn’t care too much about what folks think he should be doing, which is fine. He has the luxury of doing that. We shall see what happens ultimately.
I think the real issue is that the media is not thrilled with the idea of athletes talking directly to the public and cutting them out of the process. If you don’t need the media to ask athletes questions, if you don’t need newspapers or the internet for game recaps, why do they exist?

I think Jukai pretty summed this up. Appearing on white trash TV as a part of the Cryme Time tag team < being a bit too honest on the internet.

  • scruffz

White trash tv? Talk about ignorance…..

  • https://slamonline.com Allenp

    Scruffz
Have you seen Cryme Time’s coonery? If so, then the people who are entertained by that foolishness qualify for ht label Izzo attached to them.
Although I hate the term white trash. I really do.

  • Izzo

Okay, I retract white trash and replace it with ‘lowest common denominator TV’. Keep in mind this is coming from a former fan of wrestling. I mean the WWE is nothing but semi offensive to offensive stereotypes.

  • scruffz

“I mean the WWE is nothing but semi offensive to offensive stereotypes.”

Welcome to the world of network television.

  • scruffz

And I watch wrestling myself. Not every week, but I do try to watch whenever I can. I grew up watching this stuff, and as much as it has changed (for the worse I’d say) it’s still ENTERTAINMENT. Cryme Tyme is a small part of the WWE, so I could care less about their “coonery”. I feel less offended watching them as opposed to the Steve Harvey show, Any Tyler Perry movie, and pretty much any show that BET throws out there.

  • http://fsdklf.com Jukai

scruffz: Then you, my friend, are white trash. I just said what everyone else was thinking.

  • Izzo

I watched a Steve Harvey stand up show once, it was an hour and five minutes of why atheists are stupid and five minutes of jokes. King of comedy, really?

  • http://www.manutd.com Z

Steve Harvey is pure coonery. So is Cryme Tyme. Voilà.

    raptors just picked up Belinelli!!!

  • http://www.another48minutes.blogspot.com Gerard Himself

Jukai: I’ve watched parts of it, and later saw some embarrassing clips from it on youtube, which was basically enough to form my opinion. We just disagree on this. You think it was funny, I think it’s embarrassing.

  • http://djsklfl.com Jukai

Gerard: I don’t think it’s our disagreement on the subject matter, but on the subject. I think Marbury has always been cooky and is doing this because he knows people will watch it and talk about it. You think that Marbury is mentally breaking down and that this behavior should be an alarm and a warning for possible worse behavior in the future. If I thought your way, it might not be that funny. If you thought my way, you’d be laughing for hours.

From what I see, Steph wants to be a topic of conversation. He has acheived his objective.

  • Tbone
