  This dosent make sense for the knicks they need to get younger for 2010 (even though they wont get LBJ) they should try and get Rajon Rando, his days in Boston are numbered anyway.

  Teddy–How could the Knicks get s curry if the warriors wouldn’t even send him in a package for Amare? I would say anything more than 7 mil a year is too much for Kidd.

  JKidd is one of the few players at his age that is just as valuable to his teammates off the court as he is on it. His IQ is off the charts, every team he joins jells quickly and most players look and play better. Sure he’s lost a couple steps, but he can at least show young players how the game is supposed to be played.

  i dont know if LBJ will go for New York next summer, because even with the addition of JKidd or Steve Nash, its gonna be hard to make a run for a ring with Orlando, LA, etc. I.e) IF LBJ doesnt manage to win the championship this coming season, he will take the best offer from a CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDING team. And TBH, I dont see New York to be a champ-contending team by the end of next summer…definitely not.

  @ bashmo: Ummm no, he’s going to want to lead the Knicks to a title. Do you see LeBron James jumping ship to the LA Lakers because he wants to win a ring? NO, because they have Kobe. And Gasol.
  LeBron wants to be the top dog on a playoff team (rightfully so). The Knicks are landing 2 big names next summer, two of which have the chance of being Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. I’d say that’s pretty close to a championship squad, wouldn’t you?

  I would rather that the Knicks get a collective, contagious, and very public venereal disease than get Jason Kidd. It would be far less shameful. Also, Eugene is right. Since the Knicks did not draft a point guard, they should be exploring the Rondo option.
