The Battle for Jason Kidd’s Services
Dallas and New York are both reportedly waiting to see which of their respective three-year deals Jason (who’s 36 years old) will accept: “Kidd met for more than two hours with coach Mike D’Antoni and team president Donnie Walsh yesterday at the Garden, but they remain heavy underdogs. Dallas owner Mark Cuban already is in negotiations with Kidd on a three-year deal reportedly worth $25 million…The Kidd situation is bleak. Kidd received an inscribed Knick jersey on his visit and was shown renovation plans. D’Antoni said he had ‘no idea’ what Kidd will do, but said he has ‘two, three years left in him. He’s one of the best point guard around.’ Meanwhile, Cuban told the Dallas Morning News, ‘It’s up to Jason to work out the details, but I’m very optimistic.’”

Win a Ring For the King
The LeBron and Shaq show starts now!

But seriously, the Knicks couldn’t have made a trade for Johnny Flynn? Or Stephen Curry?
LeBron wants to be the top dog on a playoff team (rightfully so). The Knicks are landing 2 big names next summer, two of which have the chance of being Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. I’d say that’s pretty close to a championship squad, wouldn’t you?
