Brendan Haywood Calls Marbury ‘Gay’
Not to spread nasty rumors, but as some people say, it takes one to know one: “At first it was cool, but after a while it just became disturbing. He’s on YouTube crying with no shirt on for no reason, sweating while his boy’s rubbing his shoulders. What’s that about? That’s like gay porn. I don’t understand it. He’s dancing to a song called ‘Barbie Doll,’ doing like stripper moves. I have no idea what’s going on with the guy, it’s almost like he’s trying to end his own career. There’s not a GM out there that would touch Marbury right now… Have you seen the ‘Barbie Doll’ clip? Click on YouTube and go to Barbie Doll. There’s no way any other professional athletes would wanna get dressed around this guy, because you gotta think something is a little, he’s swinging from both sides of the fence.”

I hope Steph comes back just to drop 50 on the Wizards and shut Brendan Haywood the f up.
Brendan is not acting heterosexual, he is kind of gay himself.
-a player like Brendan Haywood has no right to be outspoken, because he’s not a star (judging by the comments people are making about him that he should work on his game, instead of giving an interview which probably lasted not longer than a couple of minutes)
-Although I agree with the statement that Haywood is acting a little bit homophobic, and even discriminating, the general point he made about GM’s not signing this guy, and how probably other players see Marbury because of his, well, let’s call it odd behaviour, is somehow lost to a lot of people commenting here. It truly amazes me that so many people take any opportunity they can get to bash a player. Always finding new reasons to bash someone, without reading the whole article, or even understanding what was actually written.
Secondly, people bashed the hell out of Etan when he’d write. I did on multiple occasssions. Usually though, Etan would write about a serious topic which would look bad if people strayed and said “HEY ETAN WORK ON SHOOTING THE BALL INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT RACISM IN AMERICA”
Slam commenters are equal opportunity haters, wait and see.
The intelligence is just astounding.
And the bar has just been raised!
Am I right? Am I right?
I mean, asian people are fine, but you know what Chris Rock always said, “if a dude acts like a c—, I’m gonna call them that!”
I also hate Jews that wear Yamikahs. Wear a hat bro!

Stop going to those ‘saunas’
Here’s what is amazing. You think you are qualified to say Marbury is gay based on his actions on the video. According to your standards, his actions are gay and you feel justified in calling them that.
Yet, you openly bemoan the fact that other people cally you racist or homophobic based on your actions. By their standards, you actions are racist and homophobic, but you would deny them the same rights you claim for yourself.
Have you happened to consider how big of hypocrite that makes you?
Okay, let’s have a social experiment. Act like a gay man for a year. That means, tell all your friends, family, co-workers, etc. that your gay, go out to gay bars and make love to other gay men, just generally do what you feel gay men should do.
For a year.
If you can do it for the entire year, then yeah, I’ll give it to you, sexuality is just something acted upon!
Sim, I’m comparing hate to hate and its all the same to me.
The simple point is that treating people with the respect you demand for yourself just makes sense. Period.
At least stay consistent homie. Admit that your argument creates a double standard where you get to do whatever you want and other people do not. At least that would be honest.
Haywood calling Marbury anything is insulting to basketball.
And wearing Nike, Adidas, and Reebok apparel is insulting to the child slaves who had to make it.
Ding!
I meant to give a thought provoking and illuminating response concerning gay rights, religion, and varying levels of socio-political experimentation with our current norms.
On a basketball website. With a peanut gallery.
Time and a place….
And if I missed the mark with my joke, then I really do apologize. So…there’s that.
