Clippers Waive Mark Madsen

The Los Angeles Clippers today waived forward Mark Madsen.

Madsen was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves on July 22nd along with Sebastian Telfair and Craig Smith in exchange for Quentin Richardson.

The Clippers’ roster currently stands at 12 players.

    Madsen is a Mormon, or member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Madsen is a speaker of Spanish, having acquired the language from a two-year mission abroad in Malaga, Spain on behalf of his church following his graduation from high school.

    All jokes aside, I think his toughness has kept him in the L. Hes not great at any 1 thing, but he WILL hustle and play hard.. Kinda like Charles Oakley, but Oak was a better defender and rebounder..

    Madsen is definitely a great hustle and energy player, but his lack of shooting, passing, dribbling, and rebounding skills may hinder his chances of getting signed.
