Granger Building ‘Batcave’ in New Mexico

Plans are coming along slowly (New Mexico building codes don’t allow underground tunnel entrances?!), but the Granger’s ‘cave’ should be ready by the time Batman 3 begins production: “‘I wanted an underground tunnel entrance. I had to take that out. I found out there’s so many state codes and laws against that [laughs] so we had to take that one out. But we still have the underground thing going on and I mean I’ve got cars and things that turn my cars and I even got sort of like a moat thing going on so it will be interesting to see.’”

    CDef28: Going broke has nothing to do with smarts. You give a college grad a million dollars and he can still blow it in an instant. It’s one thing to build a house with an underground tunnel, but he’s talking about his cars like he has a dozen of them. I don’t know, if I had his money, I’d be lavish, but never like THIS…

    If he actually ever needs to use his engineering degree, then yes he will be considered broke. Having an engineering degree does not automatically bring your millions of dollars back.

    Damn Young C, I know if he actually needs to use that degree it will be sad. All I’m saying is if he actually goes through all the money, he won’t be like most other athletes with nothing to live on. Anyways, why are we talking about Granger going broke? I think he’ll be ok.

    Hahaha i love this! It seems like blowing money, yes, but he has his degree and seems like he has enough common sense to put the rest of that big contract away. Some players *coughDWADEcough* buy CHURCHES for their parents and don’t get criticized for spending money. Others buy multiple houses. I think Granger is building this as his house that he will live in til he dies and he probly won’t spend that much more after the house is completed.

    Granger’s version will just be like the ones at a Six Flags or Universal Studios. Cardboard walls, maybe some flame shooters. One trap door. Rotating platforms are in every car show so if they’re not mass produced, there’s enough to go around and not 1 of 1 customs. Stop freaking out like a Republican about those Spendocrats. Whoever got the “cash (which is just as good as) money” from the last over a Billion $ movie pie can really spend to build their own more exact ones, and have more money than they can spend.
