Is Ramon Sessions Leaning Towards the Clippers?

Word in rumorville is that the Clip Show may outbid New York for Ramon’s services: “My impeccable sources tell me the Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers recently had some serious conversations about a sign-and-trade deal involving Bucks free-agent point guard Ramon Sessions. Of course, the Clippers and New York Knicks – Sessions’ other main suitor – realize they only have to extend any offer sheet to secure Sessions’ services because the Bucks aren’t in any financial position to match it.”

    forget it. sign and trade for Brandon Jennings. Jennings has a homecoming and together with Eric Gordon create a backcourt of the future along with Al Thorton as the cornerstones of the franchise. too bad Dunleavy would prob still be GM/Coach. smh

    Really, play for the clips? That must be great for Bassy’s confidence. Play behind B-Diddy? Sure, he’ll miss a third of the season anyway, but compete for PT with Sessions as well? Talk about an abundance of riches. (not quite Kidd-KJ-Nash level, but you know…)

    as the only ‘Ramon Sessions ultra fan’ on here, i can say that this would not be the worst choice ever. B-Diddy will only play like 40-50 games this year, so Ramon will still get some starts. But NYC is just such a better choice….

    I think the real question is why the hell the Bucks aren’t in position to re-sign this guy. They all ready shed a ton of cap space by parting ways with RJ and CV. Seriously, if its run this poorly they don’t deserve a franchise.

    Lean back. 2nd link also says a Sign and Trade doesn’t make sense when the Bucks are only a mil under the salary cap, and that the Knicks don’t seem to want to put out any offer sheets due to 2 albatross contracts. Indiana/Philly other team with a PG need may just swoop in for a painless offer.
