Ivey a Sixer for Another Season

So… Royal Ivey opts out of his contract only to receive a one-year deal worth just above the league minimum? Somebody find this man another agent: “The 76ers are finalizing a deal to bring back combo guard Royal Ivey on a 1-year contract. The two sides have agreed to terms, although a contract probably will not be executed until at least the end of the week. Ivey, who joined the Sixers last season, opted out of the second leg of his 2-year contract. A source familiar with the situation indicated the deal is for slightly more than the league minimum.”

    Biggest pump-fake headline ever. I work here, I know Philly has no interest in Iverson, I know Royal Ivey personally, and I STILL thought this was referencing AI. I think that means it’s time for him to get a team!
