    i love vc, no matter what. his shot is pretty good despite what people say about him. he’s got the vision and the passing skills. only problem is when people say that he doesn’t have the right attitude. with a relevant team, that’s far from the case, he does care about winning more than people realize. go orlando magic, vc has made them important to me

    “only problem is when people say that he doesn’t have the right attitude. with a relevant team, that’s far from the case, he does care about winning more than people realize.” It’s not his attitude that upsets me, I mean I’m still a fan of Shawn Marion, but unlike Shawn VC purposely dogged it to get a trade. That doesn’t stand in my books.

    Vince is not only a very complete player but in my book very underrated. It just looks like he’s not trying that hard because the game is too easy for him. Not that dude is slacking but it’s all effortless. Clutch, outside inside game,passes,rebounds…I can go on and on about this guy. One of my favorites. Don’t compare marion to vince, it’s insulting. Marion thrived in the phoenix offense but now that he’s left to fend for himself without nash and d’antoni, he just looks lost at times. I bet he’ll have 1 hell of a year.

    Vince has always been a very good player. We all know and have seen some of his dunks (The best dunker of all time in my mind). He has a really nice game to go with the dunks though too. I expect big things out of him now that he has a good team around him. I am very excited to watch him this coming year and hope he can regain some of his old form.

    He could have been one of the greatest players of all time in the NBA. I’m serious. the only thing stopping him is some games he playes the game like fire and passion, almost jordanesque. then another game he’ll play lazy and sloppy like he doesnt care. i honestly think he could be as dood as kobe if he just cared every game.

    I like Vince too, but he could never be good as Kobe. Vince has never really acquired the ability to play defense like Kobe, nor is his work ethic in the same category. Even with all the talent Lebron has, I don’t know if he can even be as good of a player as Kobe is. He has better physical gifts, but Kobe mentally is on a whole nother planet.

    LeBron reminds me alot of Vince Carter in his early years, not Micheal Jordan (don’t know why people compare LBJ to MJ) Vince Carter was just as good as LeBron in his early years he was one of those guys who relied too much on their athletic ability strength and power and on down the line had develop perimeter game later. If Vince had the intense work ethic he’d stillbe putting up 20 ppg seasons.

    @JDH good point i never even took into account the seperation between kobe and vince when it come to defense. However, part of the reason he doesn’t have the work ethic like kobe has is because it seems like he doesn’t care or he’s lazy

    Are there any people who actually care about the fact that at one point Vince stopped trying because he didn’t get his way? Stop and think about that. What would you give to play basketball for millions of bucks, even on a losing team? He’s more mature now, but I have a hard time forgiving him from a basketball standpoint for being a quitter while we’re at our 9 to 5 bulls#it.

    @niyagirlfresh, Vince still is putting up 20ppg seasons, He averaged 20.8 last year. Vince and his cousin both are lazy otherwise they both could of been up their with the greats.

    Rusty: Injuries and laziness are completely different. T-Mac played his @ss off every game, but his knee got busted up. Hopefully he’ll be back, but you can’t call the dude lazy. Come on now.

    Vince is going to have a great year next year. Something like 19 ppg and 5-6 apg and a guarnteed trip to the Eastern Finals. Mark my word.

    VC is just one of the most talented basketball player of his era. I would like to see him win a ring with the Magic. He really matured in jersey and became a leader as well as an all around player. 20-5-5 per season is not an easy task!

    T-Mac isn’t lazy he just had an unfortunate injury run, the back the knees, the ankles etc. He can very well be 27 5 5 guy right now at age 30, but injuries kept reoccuring. Vince Carter needless to say can still have a highlight season if he works on his quickness along with some good muscle and body treatment he can still do most of his damage on the perimeter. The thing about Vince is that he formed his perimeter game late in his career because he was such a beast athletically and power wise so now is the time for him to use his perimeter game at this stage of his career he can still have a awsome season.

    If T-Mac can somehow by the grace of God comeback atleast 80 healthy he can do some damamge too.
