Wade Confirms the Inevitable: No Extension

As expected, D-Wade is going to make the Heat sweat it out – along with everyone else – next summer: “Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade said Wednesday he won’t sign a long-term extension with the Heat and will revisit his future with the team as a free agent next summer … ‘Yeah, that’s no longer a conversation we’re really having right now,’ Wade said. ‘We’ve talked about it all summer. We know where they are — they know where we are. We both want the best. But the focus is only on trying to get better than we were last year. And then we’ll get back to the table and look at everything.’”

    Kind of figures since they couldn’t get either of the 2 players (Odom, Boozer) they were looking for. And Wade was stated saying he wouldn’t join the team unless he saw some changes. lol

    Bosh is not staying in T-Dot. Wade isn’t staying in Miami. They both know their next big payday is the team they’ll likely be with for the peak of their careers. It’s not hard to figure out what teams have a chance of getting them.

    Wade is going to the Chi. Church for his mom, a house, siging to JB…Plus he gets run with DRose. I could easily see them trading away Deng with Wade in town.

    I’m a Die hard Toronto fan, I know Bosh is most likely out of here, I accepted that a long time ago, but I really don’t think Dwade is going anywhere…I’ve heard through the wire that he is wanting to stay in Miami for his entire career…so I’m being as unbiased as possible i don’t care if he goes to New York or wherever he may end up, I just think he is gonna sit tight in Miami.

    I’d LOVE for Wade to come to Chicago, but it ain’t happening. Even though the Bulls have made all the right moves to ensure they’ll be enough under the cap to land a megastar next offseason, the eternal pessimist in me keeps telling me we’re just gonna sign Ron Mercer v.2010. Though having Rose definitely improves our chances of landing a Wade, Lebron or Bosh.

    Wade IS going to Chicago. I can’t believe ANYONE says New York! If your from Chicago like I am you would know. He has increased his charity work all over Chicago lately. And he pretty much said it when he praised how much of a better team Chicago was…..that did it. Chicago or bust
