Doc Rivers is Ready for Football Season

The Celtics’ bench boss had a few motivational words for the New England Patriots. Yes sir, Football season is nearly here: “Bill Belichick lauded Celtics coach Doc Rivers yesterday for addressing the team Monday as part of an NFL-sponsored life-skills presentation, saying it was ‘one of the best presentations that we have heard,’ Belichick said. ‘He was awesome and talked about a lot of things that he had dealt with and experienced through his career, from not making the basketball team in the fifth grade – or whatever it was – to being an All-American in high school, to going to college [at Marquette], to being a point guard in the NBA, to having some injuries he had to deal with, losing championship games as a player to winning them as a coach.’”

Doc should give his own team some motivation.

@Enigmatic: It’s all good…he’s gonna study the hidden video of that day and know Doc’s story – or whatever it was – inside and out next he’s interviewed.

As a New England Patriots fan, we think that Belichick is a genius, but he needs to tell us stuff. We can’t get caught up on injuries and things like that because he doesn’t tell anyone.

Hey I read in the Jordan Rules that Doc Rivers couldn’t pass to anyone but Dominique on the fastbreak. Think about that…

from not making the basketball team in the fifth grade – or whatever it was way to listen coach but doc rivers seems like a great motivator. now if only he can get t-mac to join the team when he’s healthy after this season for a 3.5 mil deal like AI just signed. and sign and trade for a nice big. I realy wanna see how KG is looking on court and if opponents are gonna cry because it used to be KG sitting and getting some rest in your eurdrums but now they got sheed coming in and he… well we all know sheeds on court antics hehe. then you got perk who’s more caught up with his on court character then hulk hogan. the top three of the east is gonna be nice… the rest of the confrence, not so much.
