Donnie Walsh Confident About Lee and Robinson

The Knicks’ front-office boss envisions both Lil’ Nate and David in orange and blue next season: “Knicks president Donnie Walsh is confident that both David Lee and Nate Robinson will re-sign with the club before training camp opens later this month. ‘Things are moving along,’ Walsh said Tuesday. ‘Nothing is imminent, but the talks have been good.’ Lee and Robinson are restricted free agents, and Walsh has said repeatedly that he wants to retain both players.”

New York needs some patience… saying that, it’s been a while aint it?

The chance of David Lee resigning with the Knicks is roughly on a par with me finding the wreckage of the Titanic in my bath tub

How supposedly smart dudes like Walsh & D’Antoni continue to make a mess of the Knicks, I can’t figure.

Instead of making a solid young PG like Sessions a priority, they’re d*cking around with Lee & Robinson.

Forget about LeBron. He’s not coming.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Drafting Galinari insstead of Gordon or Bayless, drafting Jordan Hill instead of Jennings… Trying to sign both Robinson and Lee BEFORE Sessions?! What are you doing Donnie?

Sessions doesn’t want to KNOW about this organisation.

  • LeoneL

Right on Clyde. Donnie, forget LeBron! Sign Sessions.

  • chintao

LeBron will not be coming to the Knicks. That goes double if the team doesn’t sign some reasonable players to put around him. In Cleveland, dude is on the cusp of a C’hip. It’s only a matter of time. It is also only a matter of time before the Knicks are relegated to the D-League. Just more proof that there is no God.

hahaha..knicks now is a dub org.
lebron wont come to NY..evah. He knows d’antoni’s says wont work in playoffs..evah. No D. eeffff..

now i say sign all nate, lee & sessions AND get rid of the d 3 bottom players that suck in that roster.

4get bout the 2010. chances are they’ll get at the most one franchise role player cuz no dumb big name agent’s gonna come to Ny unless they prove they have a viable system and management too in terms of how they develop their young talent and how they fare as a team this coming season.

no way in hell any big name player is soulless enough to leave their franchise to go to the Knicks, who currently suck and have 0 big name players…gtfo with that.

the knicks should just scrap the Lebron-Wade plan that was more like NY fan wet dreams and focus on winning.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Right, because Knicks will definitely win with Jared Jeffries at the center and Nate Robinson as our leading scorer.
