Even LeBron’s Mom is Talking About 2010

It’s going to be a very long year, folks: “Knick fans who are counting on LeBron James to join the hapless team after his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers expires next year had better have a Plan B. The hoops star’s mother, Gloria, told Page Six it’s not happening. ‘He’s a hometown boy,’ she said. LeBron grew up in Akron, Ohio, but his home now is Cleveland.”

    oh man i forgot about that too!! awesome ish but i mean seriously, i’m all for the revitalization of a once quality team. i mean new york is the heart of basketball (MSG = bball MECCA) Lebron in new york would brighten my day, JUST HATE CLEVELAND FOR SOME REASON

    watching all this jordan footage makes me wonder how the old school new york fans are watching this team that can win 30 games at a max and tries to outscore it’s opponents instead of you know playing D in general. It’s gotta hurt for them. I know I can’t watch it. But hey I had trouble with the running suns who you know didn’t win anything after everyone dubbed those teams in the amazing catagory. at least steve nash( hahahahaha US media that looks so dumb in the record books) got TWO!?! mvp awards for it

    it’s like the knicks management decided to slit the wrist of the franchise and let it die in the gutter. i used to hate the knicks but now they are so irrelevent it’s pointless to even get riled up.

    Its a nice dream to think Lebron will be joining the Knicks next year. The Knicks have been selling the 2010 free agent market to their fans for the last two years. However, besides saving cap room, they haven’t done anything to improve the team. Their draft picks have been questionable and there have been no significant trades to upgrade their talent level. They look like a top five lottery team with no pick ( owed to Utah). Its just a matter of time befor Walsh & Co. are replaced.

    0% chance Lebron James will ever play for the New York Knickerbockers!!! (Yes, I had to use their whole name for such a monumentous occasion… LOL)
    The Knicks have a better chance at landing Lebron’s son in a couple decades than they have at landing Lebron James in 2010.
    If he ever happens to play in NYC, it damn sure won’t be for the Knicks… it’ll be for the Brooklyn Nets, where his big homie Jay-Z is part owner!

    The most likely player to leave jet out of their current organization is Wade. They have done nothing to try and get better and I dont see D-wade wanting to play for a team that is gonna gonna make noise in the playoffs… You take d-wade out of Miami and you got a real bad team.

    ^ It doesn’t matter. No one else will be coming either, and for exactly the same reasons LeBron won’t be coming. @ ab_40 ==> We feel like sh1t. That is how we feel. It is like there are a bunch of imposters suiting-up every night. These days, I can’t even be sure whether I want the Knicks to win. Part of me hopes that they lose so often and so badly that they will move this “team” someplace else to become some other city’s problem.
