Hip Surgery for Pendergraph

Jeff Pendergraph, the Blazers’ second round draft pick, will go under the knife tomorrow: “A team representative confirmed today Portland Trail Blazers rookie forward Jeff Pendergraph will undergo left hip surgery Wednesday. A timetable for Pendergraph’s return will be set post-surgery. Pendergraph, chosen by the Blazers in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft with the 31st-overall pick, started five games for Portland during summer league competition … Pendergraph is expected to miss a significant portion of the team’s upcoming 2009-10 season due to the surgery.”

All the Blazers need in this situation is jus some marvin gaye, some luther vandrose. A lil Anita will definitly get that party off right…

Sounds horrible, but he wont be needed right away. Blazers already have youth, missing a veteran. Juwan Howard?? Was really hoping they would get B.Wallace, or Mcdyess before they signed elsewhere.

it’s a good thing they went with the safe pick instead of drafting a more decorated but injure prone player like Dejuan Blair.
