Jason Collins Becomes a Hawk

Atlanta’s stockpiling of big fellas continues: “The Hawks signed veteran center Jason Collins on Wednesday, fortifying their frontcourt rotation with another big man a week after signing Joe Smith to a one-year deal. Like Smith, Collins, an eight-year veteran, signed a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum. He gives the Hawks 12 players under contract for the coming season.”

You see, the only reason for having an abundance of big man is to get them to foul Dwight and Shaq. That is all.
