Jay-Z Won’t Pressure Lebron James

Hip-hop entrepreneur Jay-Z wants the team’s new move to be coupled with a new name – the Brooklyn Nets – and he wants to add his pal LeBron James to the line-up when the basketball ace’s contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers is up. But Jay-Z insists he will not pressure James into switching teams: “We’ll have a great team surrounding him so hopefully he’ll come to Brooklyn.

“He’s my friend first so I wouldn’t do that to him if we didn’t have a chance of winning (the NBA championship) because he’s going to be great. I want him to be great. Whatever team lands him, I want him to be great.”

    New stadium done in a year starting December this year? Good luck at this rate. Might want to start building a better ownership/management team (non B.Ratner based) first.

    Lebron Staying in Cleveland. Everybody will get fooled and think hes leaving, hes stays and wins 3 rings..Jay-z only owns 1.7 percent in the Nets!! He aint got it like that.

    can’t you see it? a short term deal for one or two years next summer and after that if the team isn’t good enough he’ll bolt to brooklyn who have by then played half a year or so overthere. I can see it happening. But I doubt it will

    Lebron isnt going anywhere. Hes staying because if if he does leave he wont be able to come home to visit. It would be the worst moment in cleveland sports history. jAY z NEEDS to stop talking sports
