Luther Head to the Pacers?

The Indy Star‘s beat guy, via Twitter, says it’s about to happen: “pacers very close to signing guard luther head, according to a source.”

They already have Diener, Ford, Price, and Watson. Who is the odd man (men) out then?

  • tavoris Posted: Sep.17 at 11:11 am

He’s not white? This is confusing….

@ heartlandG – Dee just signed w/ an Italian League team overseas. I hear you though, that Illini team, most of the attention went to Dee Brown cause dude was so exciting to watch. I personally, as much of an Illinois fan as I am, didn’t except Deron Williams to be THIS good, and I thought Luther Head would struggle in the L. But thats why I’m not an NBA scout or GM.

    Slam Online’s effing up again….

Are you talking about the slow loading, random IDs or something else, Enigmatic?

  • Ryne Nelson Posted: Sep.17 at 2:44 pm
Oh, you’re talking about the missing comments. Should get better with time. In regards to Dee, I could’ve sworn he was meant for the League. Too bad for that combine injury (and the fact that he’s entirely one-dimensional). Dude’s a great glue guy for any team. Worth a roster spot for that alone, if you ask me.

I always liked Luther Head, when he did get minutes, he performed well for the Rockets. But it’s the typical problem: not a point guard, but not big enough to be a 2. But as a sixth man, great to have on your bench.

@ Ryne I forgot all bout that injury-Me either bout D Will he tha truff

Great pickup for the Pacers. Luther can play for real, great dude in Houston. Glad he’s found a team.

Yes, Ryne, I was talking about the missing comments. Thank you for clearing that up, though.
Anyways, I think Luther Head could actually come in and back up the 2-spot for Indy, instead of battling it out with a bunch of PG’s (which he also had to do for a while in Houston)

    Meh.

  • T Money Posted: Sep.17 at 11:36 pm
The Pacers must be the most mediocre, uninteresting team in the league.

  • Blinguo Posted: Sep.18 at 3:07 am
He can go back to “4 head” with the jersey # in Indiana.
