Martell Webster Will Be at Training Camp

Martell and the Blazers, on the receiving end of some very good news: “He fell short in an attempt to return in time for the playoffs last season and he’s been compelled to take things sloth-like slow this offseason, but the wait is finally over for Trail Blazers small forward Martell Webster. The one-time Blazers starter has been cleared for all basketball-related activities, according to general manager Kevin Pritchard, and is poised for a return when training camp opens later this month. Webster fractured a bone in his left foot last October and missed all but five minutes of the season during a longer-than-expected rehabilitation process that wiped away his fourth NBA season.”

This guy. I’m really not sure what the Blazers see in this guy.

I wondered what happened to him. Now is when we’ll see any character and chemistry issues with the team. There’s just too much young talent on that team not to have some PT and contract issues. Always happens.

Blazers need to package some of this talent and trade it before they squabble.

ciolkstar, when he’s healthy, he is pretty darn good at shooting the basketball. Unfortunately for him, they have pretty much solved their perimeter shooting problems already.
