Reports: Robinson and Lee Close to a Deal

Donnie Walsh is being cagey about the whole thing, but signs point to Nate and David re-upping with the Knickerbockers by the time training camp begins: “The Knicks are working toward finalizing one-year contracts for David Lee and Nate Robinson. ‘I don’t want to say that we’re close but we’re trying to get something done,’ Knicks president Donnie Walsh said Monday. Lee and Robinson are restricted free agents who both have the option of signing offer sheets with other clubs.”

Yeah, it better be one-year contracts. Don’t wanna go over the cap and not be able to sign Bron and Wade/Bosh!

Excellent. Now we are that much closer to guaranteeing at least 20 wins this year (and none for the subsequent years). Yawn….
