Randolph Could Miss Season Opener
Anthony’s injured back and knee may keep him out of the Warriors’ lineup come opening night: “Warriors coach Don Nelson is unsure if forward Anthony Randolph can play in Wednesday’s regular-season opener after the second-year forward aggravated his lower back injury during Tuesday night’s 113-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Ontario. Randolph, who suffered a bruised tailbone last week against the Los Angeles Clippers, did not practice Wednesday as he was being examined by team physician Dr. Frank Chen. According to a Warriors spokesman, Randolph has a lower back contusion and spasms and a left knee contusion.”
