Eddy Curry Shut Down for a While

In other breaking news, the sun rose in the East this morning: “Eddy Curry could be sidelined up to one week after an MRI revealed a torn right plantaris muscle, which runs from the top of the calf to the Achilles. Curry returned to New York today to have blood drained from the injury and he is expected to be back in Saratoga on Thursday.”

who knew you could get injured reaching for a krispy kreme?

  • Clark

There goes whatever tiny amount of trade value he could have had a chance of obtaining… Looks like they get a 10 million dollar anchor to drag…

  • AB_40

don’t laugh but you get that injury from training to hard with too little rest for a very long time. Or maybe he just started walking again instead of sitting on the couch and bench for 10 hours a day to sleep 9 and eat and eat and eat all day

  • Joe

Shut down, when was he up????????????????

  • rog123

I bet the knicks will still offer him a contract extension this season.

Y’all are overreacting… He’s only sidelined for 3-5 days. He did come into camp in shape, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt… FOR NOW.

Wow: LHughes: 13mil, Curry: 10, AHarrington: 10, CMobley: 9, Darko: 7.5, DLee: 7, Jeffries: 6 For a Grand Total of 83 mil this year.

If Curry & Jeffries pick up their player options, the Knicks will be down to 21 mil in payroll next year.

  • JOMAY

he got injured for always going back and forth at the buffet table.

  • Josh D

This time last year i’d of probably made fun of this somehow, but this guy has been through a hell of a lot i really hope it all comes good this year

  • Shem

Does anyone remember a couple years back people were saying he was gonna be the best post player in the league? times change

  • LB

    This guy is beyond laughable.

  • Seven Duece

He just makes it so easy, because it just takes it so easy. Ask a limo driver.

  • rainman10

Remember 06-07 when he averaged 19 and 7? And played 35 minutes a game for 81 games? Come on Eddy get it together.

    Eddy Curry for All-Star!

  • JDH21

This guy is just a disappointment after another disappointment. For his size and talent he should be an NBA all star virtually every year. What I am forgetting though is that he is Eddy Curry and is extremely lazy and could care less about anything besides collecting his salary.
