Rip Hamilton: Michael Curry’s a Liar

Allen Iverson’s former teammate supports the claim that Michael Curry isn’t the most trustworthy guy in the world: “M.C. lied to us a million times,’ Hamilton said of Curry. ‘He sat me and A.I. down one time and was like, ‘I’m going to lean on both of you the whole year, just don’t go to the media. Say you’ll do whatever for the team and blah blah blah.’ This was a week before he brought me off the bench. He lied. So I feel for what Allen said.’ He added: ‘I think the person that we had didn’t know how to take advantage of (our roster). Instead of taking advantage of it, he killed it.”‘

    Allenp…HOW MANY PEOPLE UP HERE GOT ON ME (and AI, and Scoop) FOR SAYING THAT AI’s VERSION OF THE STORY WAS LIKELY THE TRUTH? I’m awfully surprised that Rip came out and corroborated it, but the truth is-and did-come to light.

    oh, and Wayno, you don’t annoy me…you disturb me. It’s almost frightening that someone-in today’s universally connected age-can be so closed-minded about things. That’s precisely why I moved above the Mason-Dixon line.

    oddly, I don’t see certain notorious anti-Iverson posters giving their input on the situation, especially since the corroboration that was requested has just been given…

    rikson…must we go thru this again? How can you even try to defend the Pistons (and further villify AI), when a current Piston (and the one on the team with the most seniority) has CORROBORATED his story about last season? Come on, dude…
