    Seattle’s Loss, in Movie Form

The citizens of Seattle can now relive the pain and drama of the Sonics leaving by heading to their local cineplex: “A few days before tonight’s screening, filmmaker Jason Reid worked frantically in the living room of his Georgetown-neighborhood house to fix two major problems with his latest documentary ‘Sonicsgate,’ which takes an in-depth look at how Seattle lost its NBA team. The first problem: It’s too long …The film’s other problem: It’s depressing.”

i’m interested in how these types of moves come about, must be a lot of back-handed deals of the rich and connected. as bad as the browns were/are, i still don’t understadn how cleveland lost them.
