    Chris Paul on the Mend

There’s no timetable set for his return, but there are encouraging signs for CP3 and the Hornets: “Three consecutive wins before Sunday night’s game against the Miami Heat is an indication the New Orleans Hornets could be heading in the right direction on the court. And the news is good off the court, as well. Injured All-Star guard Chris Paul now is walking without the aid of a hard, plastic boot that immobilized his badly sprained right ankle since the injury occurred Nov. 13 against the Portland Trail Blazers at the New Orleans Arena. Paul attended the team’s shoot-around Saturday morning at the Arena, and he was wearing a shoe at Saturday and Sunday night’s games.”

Get well soon, man. Been looking forward to Chris this season. And he’s young so hopefully it’ll heal faster.

I really grew to dislike CP3 this season. Seen a different side of him that didn’t impress me at all. They’re doing better without him anyhow.

@ RickyRude “Grew to dislike CP3…a different side of him” SO you’re telling me you wouldn’t show any emotion with your team mates being non-existent in games and your team letting go your coach without even notifying you prior to that when they consider YOU the FRANCHISE player? Do you think they would do that to Duncan? LeBron? Wade? The best player on the team and considered to be the best PG in the league gets to find out through Twitter? I’d rather CP3 play with emotion and play to WIN than just being content on losing and collecting his paycheck.

LOL @ Ricky.. your insane. CP3 is the best point guard since Magic, and if the Hornets organization had any clue what the HELL they were doing, they’d be top 3 in the league. Just cause they reeled off 3 fluke wins, especially with a new coach (beginners luck?), it doesn’t mean they’re better without the best PG in the game. come off it

Charlie: I agree with most of your sentiments, but the players are very rarely informed when a coach is getting fired.
LexLuther: Thomas, Stockton, Kidd, and Payton would like a very long word with you.

actually id say cp3 is better than stockton in several aspects (scoring, rebounding, turnover ratio) and flat out better than payton. payton doesnt even deserve a mention. he wasnt statistically the best pg in his time. tht was stockton. cp3 is a combination of all of those tht jukai mentioned. stocktons vison + paytons “glove” hands, thomas’s scoring and kidds rebounding. not many pg’s do wht he does OVERALL. for example against philly last year he had a 27 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists, and 7 steals line and against Jason Kidd on 1-14-2009: 33 pts, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, 7 steals. and he can still do this! dont fall of the bandwagon

actually i take back tht gary doesnt deserve a mention. he does but he doesnt accuratly compare to cp3 unlike stockton.
