Dwight’s Critical Blogging Costs Him $15k

The League is in your internets, going through your blogs with a fine toothed comb: “Magic C  Dwight Howard has been fined for saying things to officials during games, drawing technicals. On Tuesday, the NBA announced that Howard was being fined $15,000 for public criticism of the officiating that appeared on his personal blog. Howard’s comments appeared following Orlando’s 85-80 loss to Detroit on November 3 at The Palace of Auburn Hills. ‘What really bothers me is they are letting guys hammer me at one end of the floor, yet I’m being called for everything. All of those hits take a toll on my body after a while,’ Howard wrote.”

i heart dwight i hatehe has to pay for giving his opinion..sometimes i feel like the nba is too hard on him& they pick on him and i hate it!! he is the best center in the league&he is a great person and he didnt curse r give names so idk what the big hype is..he just going to continue to be a great player..we have players doing worse than him on the floor all tatted and such…if nba is trying to make an example of him start with the apperence of the players and go from there

moronic L office! more like gestapo than a governing body… how about evaluating the comments and taking them on board? unless they’re mos def tryin to get of real big man play, dwight was right in his comments, dude got slapped one end, no call, and then played hard and legit on other end and got penalised for it? hypocrisy, if they set the precedent keep it consistent, none of this double standards for different players nonsense

There is a special place in hell for David Stern. Dwight said that it “bothers” him. He didn’t criticize anyone.

And Donald Sterling still doesn’t like black people and Latinos.
    Helluva double standard.
