    Good News for Bynum

Andrew’s elbow injury turned out to be less serious than he and Laker fans had feared: “Andrew Bynum underwent an MRI exam today that revealed he suffered a strained right elbow when Houston’s Chuck Hayes smacked him in the closing seconds of the Lakers’ overtime victory Wednesday night. Bynum was said to be doubtful to play in Friday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He did not practice today and left the gym with an electronic stimulating device on his injured elbow.”

Ryne just let out a sigh of relief that Slamonline won’t be deserted in droves from fair-weather Lakers fans.

YES!! I hope nothing messes his all star season! If he gets his explosiveness back D Howard and the rest of the centers better watch out..has good skill set in the post.

    • CDub23KB24 Posted: Nov.6 at 10:40 am
If you don’t know that Andrew Bynum was explosive before his injurys you have no reason commenting here. Its for people that actually watch the games Slamfan.

He is better now than before his injuries. He wasn’t that explosive.

    • Brad Long Posted: Nov.6 at 11:10 am
He was never Dwight Howard, athleticly, but he has about a dozen more post moves.

i alway’s underestimated this guy.you know typical young immature loud mouth on a winning team…
      face it!
he is having a damn all-star season till now
if he continues the 15-20 points and 8-10 rebounds..he is bound to start at center for the west…

Keeps the ball high when he recieves passes near the rim. Uses both hands with the jump hook. Has increased muscle mass since coming to the L. All around quality center. Definately good news for the lakers.

    • [...] news! Bynum’s not all that banged up! So with his work ethic, he should be back by December, January, March, who knows when. [...]
