Six Warriors Enough to Beat Dallas

The Mavs (and the local media) were understandably furious following a humiliating home loss to a rag-tag group of Warriors: “And those six bodies? Three of them played all 48 minutes … and yet right when the Warriors should’ve been corpses – for instance, when Dallas had them down 98-89 with six minutes left – the Mavs let them live by being outscored 24-7 down the stretch. Yes, Rick. The Warriors played half of their six dudes the full 48. You tortured your poor Mavs by playing a couple of them for 40 minutes. ‘There are losses,’ Dirk Nowitzki said, ‘and then there are bad losses. This was one of them.’”

    It’s a shame this didn’t go down as a win to Don Nelson to get him closer to ‘all time winningest’ – But it really looks like the Warriors have the Mavs number straight up.

    I enjoyed that game A LOT…Six brave dudes, Monta just destroyed them and Morrow lights out!WOW, that was basketball at a high level, goes to show, those 12 man rotation are bullsh!t!!!

    true tad, but he was unstoppable. dallas played zone, and he still got to the rim at will. both monta and morrow looked like video games, with monta making everything within 7ft, and morrow splashing nearly every 3 he took. also, the team defense was outstanding. people were rotating and closing out on shooters. maybe the players are more willing to hustle for keith smart

    being a mavs fan is tough :( could be worse, but when a team beats you playing vladimir radmanovic the ENTIRE game, there’s something wrong

    The Warriors will actually be better without Stephen Jackson in the long run. Obviously its not Jax’s fault, but his departure leaves more minutes for the two Anthony’s, who can both be All-Stars. It also lets Monta Ellis get down to business, freeing up shots for Stephen Curry too. I like the Warriors a whole lot right now.
    Also, Anthony Morrow is ridiculously good. How did this cat go undrafted?!

    Haha, G-State fans need all the highs they can get, not that Dallas is sitting pretty close to the top of the Western Conference or that Mavs played with three starters out (Marion, Howard and “mysterious illness” Damp) that game. gloat all the way to the lottery, Golden State Warriors… It’s great down there.
