5th Straight DNP Coming Up for Nate

New York is on a three-game winning streak, which coach Mike D’Antoni clearly believes has something to do with Robinson being planted on the bench. As such, nothing is going to change: “The Knicks keep winning — and Nate Robinson keeps sitting. Coach Mike D’Antoni said yesterday that Robinson would sit again tonight when the Knicks visit New Orleans. That would make it five straight DNPs for the banished guard. Robinson didn’t feel like answering questions yesterday, but stopped long enough to say he was ‘hanging in there.’ D’Antoni has used rookie Toney Douglas in Robinson’s place, and that should continue tonight. ‘I’m not gonna switch up anything,’ D’Antoni said when asked if he had any thoughts of re-inserting Robinson …  D’Antoni added lukewarm praise for Robinson’s recent practices, saying, ‘He’s playing hard, doing fine. He’s doing what he’s supposed to do.’ That’s not good enough, apparently, to get back on the court.”
