  maybe not this year, but if he keeps up the good numbers, it’s only a matter of time, kaman will be an all star….kaman=all star…weird, i know, but the guy does the right things

  I’ve seen a couple of games by Kaman, and he’s playing really great. Offensively, there aren’t many centers who are more skilled than he is. Sometimes the Clippers aren’t that bad to watch, and it would be a huuuuge mistake is they would be open to trade Kaman.

  I hope Kaman doesn’t fall into the Clipper Curse, but with the way things go for the Clips, Kaman will throw a 40pts, 25rbs, 5blks game at us, Griffin will come back the next game and Chris will get hurt in practice and miss the rest of the season.

  I’ve watched the Clippers play a couple of times this season and i’ve seen them ignore Kaman down in the post at times when he has position and is clearly calling for the ball. He should actually be averaging more points than he has now. The Clips just seem to lack much of an identity on the offensive end.

  kaman was always a andris biedrins type player till this year. mofo also always had a good pf around him
  (randolph and brand) so he never got that shine till this year. when griffin comes back his numbers will come down. the clips would be real effective with a) a jason kidd pass first type pg and b) getting rid of al “blackhole” thornton.

  It seemed to me that Kaman has always had a nice offensive game. Biedrins gets most of his points by being a great offensive rebounder. Nice player, but Kaman has a much more developed offensive game. To clippers fans, what’s the verdict on E Gordon? Do you think he’s got star potential, or is he Ben Gordon part 2? I know he can score, but I don’t see the clips enough to judge if he can play team ball.

  so much misconception on Kaman here. Actually comparing him to Andris Biedrins? In the game against Boston he caught the ball on top of the key on a screen and roll crossed over a rotating Perkins and finished with his left hand. Late in the same game when the Clips needed a bucket they gave it to him 16ft away from the basket on the wing, he faced up on Perk and splash. He can hit from 18, can finish with both hands, and now has added a fadeaway jumper on the right side of the key to keep defenders honest on his above average dropstep. He will be robbed by not being in the ASG this year

  @ Orlando, Eric is a great player, but I am starting to doubt his aggressiveness. He is also a much better defender than Ben, and even is the one who guards Kobe which should say enough about his d. He doesn’t demand the ball in big situations, and there are often times when he could take over against guys who can’t guard him but for some reason stops after 1 or 2 buckets. The skills are there, he is the only one keeping him back. Kobe respects Eric so much that Kobe invited Eric to train with him this summer.

  God, what is the problem with winning so u hav 2 B selected 2 All Star events, with the MVP its barely acceptable but with All Star most of the players, especially the backups, some of them won’t B able to carry their team 2 the best record, and the Clippers R doing betr than usual anyway

  He probably should be atleast a back up for the all star team but would the fans rather see : a) amare stoudemire throw down nasty dunks and alley oops OR
  b)chris kaman with his hookshot and 12 foot faceup jumpshot… you guys figure it out

  Chris kamen was my write in pick at the beginning of the season but now im voting for tyreke evans or joakim noah. although chris really is playing well this season hopefully him and blake griffen can be a good centre power forward pair.

  This isn’t an MVP award. The best players should go, regardless of record. Kaman > Bynum. Send the man to Dallas.

  Yes we know Kaman is a top center, I vote for him for 2 reasons. (1) He deserves it & (2) I would hate for someone like Bynum to make it. Kaman is not a “popular” player and he is white therefore he is not more well known, especially with the Asian population. This is a popularity contest: See McGrady and his votes. LOL!!!

  He only makes it by way of coaches vote and I’m fine with that. T the Bear, I’m saying he doesn’t draw attn to himself, he seems to be on the straight and narrow and he is not marketed and plats on a non market team. lol. All of the above are an ASG appearance kiss of death. As far as comparisons: Kaman has good numbers on a bad team but still has to play against good players, Bynum has decent numbers on a good team w/ good players freeing him up for numbers. I just happen to prefer Kaman and it’s not b/c I’m a Celtic guy. I just Love this game.
