Chuck Hayes Hates LeBron’s Dancing, Too

James has already ticked off Joakim Noah, and now Chuck Hayes has voiced displeasure with LBJ’s dancing on the sidelines during blowouts: “Yeah (it was wrong), but if Joakim Noah and the Bulls have a problem with it, beat him, he won’t dance,’ Hayes said. ‘I notice that the Cavs, they do all their sideline acts in the game when they’re up big. When it’s a close game, they don’t do that. Make them respect you and they won’t do it. To showboat another professional, it’s disrespectful. If you feel disrespected, do something about it within the game, nothing dirty. Eventually, all the dancing and acting will stop. They only do it when they’re up big.’ Shane Battier, however, had another theory about why James danced. ‘Dancing With The Stars is quite the platform to launch a career,’ Battier said. ‘Maybe, he’s trying to launch a career. LeBron’s a smart businessman. I wouldn’t put anything past him.”’

    Giving a little jig at the after a big shot is cool. But don’t bring the shoultrain line to the free throw line. Or on the bench for that matter. Just keep your class throughout the game and respect the opponent. Noah was 100% right. If the Bulls were up big and Noah turn the court into a disco, everybody would be all over him. Especially after LeBron said some words about him.

    Lebron’s just been coming off…douchey the last year or two. I guess that’s what happens when someone’s talent is adulated(and really, rightfully so) from such a young age. But even MJ could hold back from making displays like that.

    I really enjoy watching the close ups of LeBron every time a call goes against him. At his first opportunity he gives the offending ref a full reenactment of the play with his ridiculous wide-mouthed talking with his mouthpiece still in.

    Jordan was the biggest trash talker EVER, maybe in the history of basketball. Jordan definitely loved rubbing his success in the face of his opponents. I’m not going to judge whether that’s a good thing or not, but it did make for some entertaining basketball.
    I don’t think he danced, though.

    Hayes’ take on it shows sportsmanship and positivity. That said, some would question Lebron’s behaviour when his team is at the wrong end of blowouts, like after last season’s Orlando series. Sportsmanship has to go both ways. I also think it’s a matter of time before an Orlando or Denver or another good team beats Cleveland and rubs it back in their faces by mimicking the dance routine.

    Jordan did talk a lot of junk but he was talking back and forth with his opponents and I don’t remember hearing that he disrespected them with his mouth. Trash talking usually goes both ways during a game. My man Bird talked a lot too. Dancing is a bit much if you ask me (you didn’t) and it surely is disrespectful then again I thought the who;e picture taking thing was tasteless too (harmless but tasteless) He would have already been floored in the Mahorn/Laimbeer days. lol.

    Trash talking and dancing are two diffrent things teddy. Jordan was talking to get into his opponents head, while Dancing Queen was just….Dancing. Its humaliting. But like Chuck put it, if you dont like it, do somthing about it.

    chuck’s right, if lebron is too busy trying to win the game, he won’t dance. problem with that game against the bulls was, bulls weren’t keeping james busy.

    It wasn’t like Lebron went over to the Bulls’ bench and danced. He was in his own area, and was just feeling good, and maybe listening to some dancing music. Who can say what he was thinking. He may have not even been thinking about the Bulls (or maybe not even thinking at all). Why make such a big deal out of it. He was dancing in his own area. From what I’ve seen of Lebron, he likes to dance. Don’t always assume a wrong motive of someone.

    Who the hell care’s if lebron likes to dance. Kobe likes to ride bmx bikes and throw rocks at cars, but he wouldn’t be doing it at the same time the lakers are up 25 on the knicks. Lebron acts like a lil’ girl, one who has no idea how to dance.

    Where in whole wide world have all the Charles Oakleys gone? Somebody out there can’t be afraid to say “Hey Lebron, if you dance against our team, I will bite your face.” No flagrant foul. No in-game fight. Just walk away from the game while it’s still going on, saunter over to the Cavs’ bench, and bite a chunk out of the dude’s face.
    @Joel: I agree. I wonder if Lebron would be so eager to get jiggy with it if Marcin Gortat busted out the windmills and headspins during a Magic blowout.

    Chuck is right: Beat him and it doesn’t happen. In fact, the last time the Bulls and Cavs played this year, LeBron wasn’t dancing, he was CRYING. Whining that he got fouled at the end of the game. A game he lost… to the Bulls… bad as they are right now. I’m all for knocking him down, too. Hard fouls. Every time.

    if u beat the Cavs, they wont dance, simple as that. he didnt dance last night agaisnt the Rockets. Noah danced on tv after winning the NCAA championship, is that not throwing it in opponents face? besides, Lebron wasnt dancing to throw in Bulls face, he was acting silly like he always does but i guess losers take everything personal. Noah needs to take his weak game personal and improve on his flicted set shot and cut that dirty hair off! lmao
