Marquis Daniels May Return in February
The aggravated wrist injury was initially thought to be minor, but the surgery could reportedly end up sidelining Marquis for quite some time: “The Celtics are offering no formal timeframe on the return of swingman Marquis Daniels, but according to a basketball source, the club is not expecting Daniels back until some time in February. Translation: Daniels will miss somewhere in the neighborhood of eight weeks depending on he recovers from surgery to repair a ligament injury in his thumb. Daniels underwent successful surgery this morning at New England Baptist Hospital to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, the Celtics announced today.”
