  Kobe is amazing. But in defense on that charge. Artest got his hold body hit on a drive, and no foul was called on Bogut. But 100 percent a charge lol.

  Holly MacKenzie/@stackmack- you should be mad at the lack of defensive pressure the Bucks put on KB24. They knew what spot he was going and still let him shoot a clean shot. Real is real- Bucks deserved to lose that game.

  Does it make me sort of a flip flopper or a lover of the game when I started screaming at the TV when Kobe got that BS bailout call, and then screamed wildly and high fived everyone like a madman when Kobe hit the game winner?
  As much as I want to say that the Bucks were robbed, I can’t believe they let Kobe iso up one on one. What were they thinking? They almost deserved it for thinking one dude could stop Kobe.

  Matt Barnes only looked as good as he did because he was playing against the Raptors. They have a keen habit of making other (lesser) players look like stars. Story of my life.

  The raptors just seem like they’ve stopped competing out there. Also its no conincidence that Iverson is playing better since Jrue Holiday has been starting beside him. Iverson was always most effective playing next to a big pg.

  Top five in the NBA are still Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Dirk… well, I guess I’d throw Melo over Paul and Howard at this point in time to. But I think given time, Paul’ll outplay Melo again.

  The Raptors need a Ben Wallace type of player who defends and rebounds and doesn’t care about stats and plays all out. Too much finesse on that team.

  It’s also a team full of streak shooters– from one to five. I’m not even kidding, have you ever seen a starting five of streak shooters before? Outside of Bosh, there is no one consistent. Defense wins championships, but this team needs another form of constant offense to even be a contender.

  Kobe does it again, with a broken finger. When we all watch these highlights from Kobe so far from this season, ten years from now, we will be saying he is one of the greatest ever. To play with a broken finger is He man, warrior stuff. I bet alot of players in the NBA would not play with this pain. Kobe is on another level right now, if he gets this title this year, KObe will have 6 years after this to win one more title to tie MJ. Kobe wants to play until he is 40, he is in great shape and works on his game all the time. Kobe will be the NBA’s all time leading scorer one day. BOOK IT!!!!

  Lakers got the calls all night, 3-1 advantage at the stripe. The no charge call on Kobe in OT just iced it. He’s a great player and the Lakers are a good team but it shouldn’t have come to that

  Drew Bogut was fantastic on Twitter after that game, the chess line got me laughing out loud over here in cold Switzerland.
  Also, a VERY nice game winner by Kobe, slight hesitation spin fake, then extreme fadeaway, money. Hate the player, can’t hate on that shot. Pretty as hell.

  Jukai, we are saying he is one of the greatest ever, didn’t want to go overboard with my top 5 all time anaylsis of Kobe’s game and why I feel he is only behind Jordan as the best player to ever play. So I just played it simple, but he will be scoring champ for NBA, then I will profess him as the best!!!

  You know, I used to think Hedo had ice in his veins when he’d always take those last shots. Now I honestly believe that Hedo just doesn’t care about the game. If he makes it, cool, if he doesn’t, no biggie. Sometimes he just doesn’t play in Toronto.

  Kobe needs to score 13,875 more points to be the all-time NBA scoring leader. That’s an absurd number of points. Kobe would have to average, ohhhh, about 18.7 points from now till he is forty, without missing one game, to beat Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record. No injuries, no taking off games, nothing.
  And considering Kobe has already said if he’s not physically able to be ‘top dog’ on his team, he’ll retire… I don’t think he’s going to forty.
  That’s a pipe dream.
  Let’s even say he plays till 37. He’d have to average something like 29.1 points from now till he’s 37 to break Kareem’s record.
  I just don’t see it being done.

  After watching the Rockets-Nuggets game, what’s the most traveling calls you guys have seen in an NBA game? 6 or 7 were called last night…is this an anomaly? I was pretty frustrated with the refs last night. Of course I’m a Rockets fan but if the game is called well by the officials and my team loses, then there’s no one to blame but the Rockets. But at one point, the officiating was so bad that Billups was hit by Nene and a foul was called on Ariza. And this is not me saying the Nuggets wouldn’t have beaten us without the refs (JR Smith was killing…and Melo? Damn!), but it was really bad last night…

  Blue, I hear you man. The refs were ridiculously horrible last night. Brooks was d@mn near SMACKED going to the hoop and no call; that completely took away the Rockets’ momentum.
  The refs clearly favoured the Nuggets that game. Remember when the Rockets were making a run and Lowry comes down on the fast break and gets the ball knocked away? They called NUGGET BALL.
  Man, the refs sucked last night. Every time the Rockets went on a run they were screwed over. It also didn’t help that Landry only had 12 points and Scola had even less.

  @judbc – my point was everytime the Lakers touched the ball in the paint or missed a shot a foul was called. Dont believe me? How about TWICE lane violations were called on Milwaukee after missed LA free throws…you don’t see that twice a year in the whole league let alone in a single game. Just b/c Illyasova missed some ft’s in OT doesn’t mean the three blind mice need to make a brutal call like they did. I give Milwaukee credit for being able to overcome all of that, and still have a chance to win. Most teams would have rolled over for the champs. Kudos to Kobe for “doin work”

  @James the balla. Exactly. Yes it was a charge, the refs made a mistake, and believe me, there were other mistakes against the Lakers, but obviously the spotlight is on Kobe, so people complain a lot more, talkin’ about special treatments and this and that. you can’t take anything away from Kobe, the guy is awesome, works hard and respects the game. STFU.

  I just got a new pair of Nike Air Force One shoes, and I could not be happier. My custom Nike Air Force Ones are the coolest thing that I have seen in years. These ones are a special St. Patrick’s day addition, done in bright green and white. Very retro. I am tempted to save my Nike Air Force One shoes for playing basketball, but the thing is, I just can not keep them off of my feet. Everyone who sees me gives me a look of envy when they check out my Nike Air Force One shoes, because they know that I’ve got the cash flow to buy the nice threads.
