All-Star Uniforms Unveiled

Click here to view the garments guys will be playing half-speed in a few weeks from now: “With more traditional blue and red based uniforms, both conference jerseys are set off by mesh patterns and increased venting in high heat zones. With this year’s NBA All Star game being held in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, February 14th, be on the look out for All Star jerseys, warm ups and tees by adidas to be made available soon.”

    @Riggs Especially the 93 cactus in phx and the 96 pepper joints. They did a good job of incorporating the city theme in Vegas 07 and NOLA 08. Anyone else not like that there will not be a team clad in white for the game.

    Why does the West host so many game lately? The game/weekend has only been held in 3 Eastern Conference cities since 2000 (Philly, DC and ATL)

    Why do they always have to be Red and Blue Based. The Jersey should incorporate the colors of the hosting City

    those are sick. maybe it is a city theme with the star on the jersey…you know since its in the lone-star state.

    I still dig the ’06 astronaut-style warmups when they were here in Houston. Where each player had “mission” patches from all of their previous all-star games and the flag of their home country on the sleeve.

    The All-Star Uni’s are soo dumb. The only good ones were those that were used in the ’03 game with the stars. They’re plain and simple, but classic. On the other hand, if you want some “flair” here’s my idea. Go back to using the players team uniforms BUT (and here’s the cool part) instead of the players’ last names on the back, have their SIGNATURES recreated and stitched on the back. I mean, they are all-stars, we don’t really need the names to know who these guys are.

    Do like the cleaner look. Although, the cactus unis (weren’t they ’96?) will never be beaten.

    Is it just me who thinks the red one looks like a soccer jersey from behind?
    I don’t mind the player signature idea, actually and I always thought the All Star having a nickname on the back was good. How sweet would a #5 East uni with “Big Ticket” on the back look?

    I think it IS a little city themed. They have the star which would be representative of Dallas and Texas as the ‘lone star’ state…
    but more likely just the all-star logo. Eh.
