Bulls Acquire Devin Brown for Aaron Gray

Chicago and New Orleans completed a small deal yesterday: “The Bulls have acquired guard Devin Brown from the New Orleans Hornets for center Aaron Gray. ‘We’re excited to add Devin Brown to our team,’ said Bulls General Manager Gar Forman. ‘His toughness, defensive versatility, and shooting will be excellent additions to our perimeter rotation.’ Brown, 6-5, 210, has appeared in 39 games (37 starts) for the Hornets this year, and averaged 9.7 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 1.5 apg in 24.8 mpg. On the season, he has shot .394 from the field, .367 from behind the arc and .802 from the line.”

    Actually, I think Devin Brown is a decent player, with experience. So, he’s good pick-up by the Bulls.

    I hope a trade is coming..Salmons Brown, Deng, Hinrich, Rose. Amare is on the block, we do have some pieces..and Brown didnt make us 10 games better. Lets go Gar!

    Good trade for the Hornets. Gray has played well when given playing time, and gives the Hornets a legit bigman. I don’t see Brown making an impact with the Bulls, who already have Hinrich and Salmons at the 2.

    @ jas good trade for the hornets? really Aaron Gray hardley plays mainly cos he isnt very good and the Bulls get a good back up shooting guard who can stretch the defence when rose drives also him and Hinrich and salmons would be three great three point shooters. plus if he wants salmons can play a little three incase deng gets injured or just needs rest I think this is a great move for the Bulls :)

    Denman Brown is a limited player who will have to get spoon fed shots to score..kick outs for three’s, and direct drives to the basket. Better lateral than Luol, but same player, Brown can shoot the three…Gar Foreman get Amare here with Derrick for this year. side note, Bulls will never be good as long as they continue with drafting “character guys” Get some guys with attitude, and heart…who does the Bulls scouting?!

    thats great ..ever since baby usher as i call him left the spurs he really hasnt found that team that he fully clicks with…hope this is the one=)
