  I’m really doubting that this years Celtics squad will have make it that deep. Too many injuries and too old in general to make it all the way to the Finals. We’ll see though.

  why are there so many celtics haters and not laker haters? i seriously don’t understand. are there thaaat many people on the lakers bandwagon? the celtics had to give up something to acquire kg and ray. the lakers stole gasol. dosent that annoy more people? yeah i’m a nuggets fan so i’m neutral but surely the lakers are way more annoying than the celtics, who were pretty inspirational when they won their title.

  I hate the Lakers, everyone is like Kobe this, Kobe that, hell he has to put up big numbers everynight to win, gasol, odom, bynum and artest wouldn’t know what to do if something really bad happeded to Kobe (enough to keep him out of the game). Celtics all pitch in their roles to win games(why their super stars averages have dropped over their seasons in Boston) and are still managining to win games without some of thier superstars. Celtics all the way.

  Celts play a nice brand of ball ciculating around defense. Every athlete needs to feel motivated hell we all do. If the banner has these cats foamin @ the mouth like jimmy chipwood than so be it. Also very nice to know ur franchise has ur back.

  Agreed. People forget that Jerry West practically gave the Gasol to the Lakers for free. One of the most bogus trades ever. Why hate the Celtics? Because a couple years ago they had some free cap space and signed the available all-stars? If your envious I understand, but hate? The Celtics play good basketball, and win games often because of their defense. Thats something that should be admired, not hated.

  I wouldn’t say that we’re “extremely” confident. With the multitude of injuries that have hit this year, The C’s remind me a lot of the ’07 and ’08 Miami Heat teams.

  Yea Jon, people should hate the Lakers for taking Gasol. Who in their right mind takes advantage of opportunity? What a bunch of jerks. Not surprised a NUGGETS fan turned a Celtics post toward the Lakeshow. I know it’s hard not to make everything about the LAL, but come on now. Celtics are too fragile to make it to the Finals.

  Yes, Jerry West handed Pau Gasol over to the Lakers for nothing. But let’s not forget that the C’s only got KG because McHale made the deal from Minnesota. The C’s deal was more fair because they did give up more in return, but it still wouldn’t have happened without that relationship. All’s fair in love and war.

  I am not over confident but I am confident that we can beat anyone in a series (especially when healthy). Why wouldn’t Celtic fans be confident, we are playing pretty well despite all of the injuries. I love watching most of the teams in the L (Hi, my name is Baller and I’m a junky. lol) Now that My Crimson Tide has won the national Title I want more !!
