Jamario Moon Out 3 Weeks

Down goes one of the Cavs` more important role players: “For the first time this season, the Cavaliers will be without a key player for an extended period of time. Jamario Moon is expected to miss three weeks after doctors at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health diagnosed him with an abdominal strain on his left side. Moon has been an integral part of the team’s efforts in recent victories, most notably playing a significant role in keeping Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers in check on Christmas Day.”

  • ab_40

for the first time? I thought they missed delonte for a couple of games earlier in the season. so now we’ll see how college prepares you to play for a contender with danny green gettting outplayed by everybody when he gets his minutes

This is why Tony Horton tells you not to do Ab Ripper X every day.

    Excuse me????

” Moon has been an integral part of the team’s efforts in recent victories, most notably playing a significant role in keeping Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers in check on Christmas Day.”

35 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for Kobe that day.

    Yeah, great job Moon! LOL

@robb: you forgot 11 of 33 from the field. If I’m playing against the Lakers I take that any day and twice on Christmas.

  • WOODY

Holding him to 33% shooting is a significent check, I should say. The fact that he chooses to take 75% of the shots is an internal problem.

  • LA Huey

Mamba also had a bunch of turnovers

  • Sporting-Lisbon-Blazers

    what neaorin said

  • robb

@neaorin I didn’t forget it, but I think Kobe shooting 11 from 32 that day had a lot more to do with a broken index finger on his shooting hand than Moon’s D.

    @LA Huey. He had 4 TO’s, LBJ had 7. That’s a bunch.

  • neaorin

Kobe’s shooting a career-best 48% from the field this season, so I’m not sure we can play the injury card. Anyway he was hounded all game long by Parker and Moon and got very few open looks at the basket, and if I’m Mike Brown I’m taking those two guys out to dinner whenever Kobe scores 35 points on 33 shots on my team.

  • LA Huey

@robb,you’re right about the turnovers. i remembered both kobe and lebron having 7 for some reason.

  • nic

moon did a great job on kobe, kobe shot soo badly that game
dont pull the stupid injury card cause his finger isnt even broken it is a just a small crack that doctors say doesnt hurt while it heals. lol
