SVG: Pressure Has Gotten to ORL Magic

As always, Stan Van Gundy tells it like it is: “This has always been a team that’s played well as the underdog. Now suddenly the Magic are expected to win. Small victories don’t impress people anymore. ‘I don’t think there’s any doubt we have struggled at times with the expectations this year,’ Van Gundy said. That causes frustration when things don’t go so well. As coach it’s up to him to figure out how to get the team out of that rhythm. He said he’s been angry with himself for not figuring out how to pull the starters out of their malaise. He would be more concerned about the players if it was one or two of them and not Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis, Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter all at once.”
