Bulls Ground Joakim Noah

Noah’s plantar fasciitis has forced the team’s hand: “The Bulls have opted to rest Joakim Noah and the plantar fasciitis in his left foot at least through the All-Star break and Noah is scheduled to return to Chicago for treatment Thursday night. Noah clearly has labored through the last two games and didn’t participate in the Bulls’ light practice at Georgia Tech Thursday. ‘It’s frustrating,’ Noah said late Wednesday in Philadelphia. ‘I can’t move the way I want to.’ At practice, coach Vinny Del Negro confirmed management had discussed making this move. Del Negro battled plantar fasciitis for close to two seasons during his playing career.”

Taj Gibson & Brad Miller should be solid pickups in Noah’s absence.

Exist4eva correct yo… so few basketball shoes deal with the stress that running and jumping puts on the arches, this injury happens when shoes don’t support the foot properly…

This is okay the Bulls can handle not having him until after All-Star weekend thanks to Brad Miller, Taj Gibson, Tyrus Thomas and 10 day forward Chris Richard.

Noah is a thoroughbred. Few players in the league have his heart, few have his motor. He should be on a championship team. He would be so valuable.

That’s what happen when you wears ‘Le Coq Sportif’ sneakers…look at artest situation with his chinese shoes also.

cosign The Philosopher…and everyone else that mentioned the shoes. Nike’s may be expensive but they’re worth it. lol You don’t see any of their endorsers or anyone else that wears them going down with these foot ailments.
